Betty Johansen
Betty Johansen grew up in the West Texas town of Big Spring, the daughter of a landscape architect and a Bible teacher. Her career path has been full of twists and turns. First she was a medical doctor, then a clerk/bookkeeper, a Christian school teacher, a substitute school teacher, a newspaper copy editor, a secretary, a high school science teacher, and a novelist. Now she is living with her 94-year-old aunt while she markets her novel Hawaiian Wildflower.
